Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Lenuma Cleaning Co. By booking or using our cleaning services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before scheduling a service.

1. Definitions

  • “Lenuma,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to Lenuma Cleaning Co.
  • “Client,” “you,” or “your” refers to the person or entity booking or receiving services.
  • “Services” refers to residential cleaning and related services provided by Lenuma staff.

2. Booking and Scheduling

  • Bookings can be made online or by phone.
  • Appointment confirmation is subject to availability.
  • We reserve the right to reschedule due to emergencies, severe weather, or staff illness.
  • Clients must provide accurate information about property access, size, and condition.

3. Access to Premises

  • Clients must ensure safe and reasonable access to the property during the agreed time.
  • If you will not be home, keys or access codes must be provided securely (see our Secure Handling SOP).
  • If entry is not possible upon arrival, a cancellation fee may apply (see Refund & Cancellation Policy).

4. Health and Safety

  • Our staff follow Lenuma’s Safe Chemical Handling SOP and other safety standards.
  • Please notify us of any allergies, sensitivities, or areas requiring special care before service.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service in unsafe or unsanitary conditions.

5. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is due upon booking unless otherwise agreed.
  • Regular clients are billed per cleaning or on a monthly cycle.
  • Late or failed payments may result in service suspension until resolved.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules.
  • Less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a 50% service charge.
  • Missed appointments (no entry) are considered cancellations without notice.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee

  • If you’re not fully satisfied, please contact us within 24 hours and we’ll arrange a re-clean of the affected area at no charge.
  • Refunds are provided only per our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Liability and Limitations

  • Lenuma is fully insured and bonded.
  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage, improper installations, or items moved without permission.
  • Valuable or fragile items should be stored safely before service.
  • We are not responsible for wear and tear, discolouration, or damage resulting from old or improperly sealed surfaces.

9. Client Responsibilities

  • Ensure all pets are secured during cleaning.
  • Provide access to running water, electricity, and safe working conditions.
  • Report any damage or concerns within 24 hours of service.

10. Confidentiality and Privacy

  • All client information, keys, and access codes are handled per our Secure Handling SOP.
  • We comply with Canadian privacy laws and our Privacy Policy governs the collection and use of your personal data.

11. Employee Conduct

  • All Lenuma cleaners are employees, not contractors.
  • They are trained, insured, and background-checked.
  • Clients must not solicit or hire Lenuma employees directly for private work.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
